What is Drixoral Cold & Sinus 12 Hour?
Drixoral Cold & Sinus 12 Hour is a mixture of dexbrompheniramine and pseudoephedrine.
Dexbrompheniramine is added as an antihistamine that is used to reduce the natural histamine that your body produces. The chemical histamine may produce symptoms of itching, watery eyes, runny nose, and sneezing.
Pseudoephedrine is added as a decongestant which shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passage, therefore reducing nasal congestion (aka stuffy nose).
Drixoral Cold & Sinus 12 Hour is an OTC (over the counter) medication that is used for treating sneezing, coughing, runny or stuffed up nose, itchy and/or watery eyes, hives, skin irritations such as rashes, itching, symptoms of allergies and the common cold.
